Wow, long time

Ok, so I haven't posted since November! Wow!

Yes, many things have happened since then. I lost my full time position, but have been working intermittantly in the field, testing equipment. This is considered part time work, so I have been receiving Unemployment compensation, and searching for full time work. That takes up my time.

Also, not having internet access at home, and not being able to post these notes in my spare time at work has made it harder to get these out. And of course, the longer you wait, the less it is on your mind.

But enough of excuses, on with the note!

Hmmm....3 months of catchup... what to say...what to say?

Holidays were nice. I had the Jason and Kevin with me for Thanksgiving weekend, and Tim came up for the holiday. I had been trying to get the house cleaned up the week before, and Jason and Kevin helped me set up the Christmas Tree. We had Dinner with Rita and Kathy.

Jason and Kevin put on a great performance at the Harmony Christmas Show. I got to spend the weekend after Christmas with they boys, coming down to pick them up on Friday morning. I also spent Friday with my God-daughter Katie! That was a very pleasant and welcome surprise. I never get to see her enough.

I was so busy taking pictures during their one performance (dolls) that I mostly missed the performance! It was shorter than I'd expected. Anyway, one of the other fathers took video, and posted it to his 'facebook' page, so I got a facebook account to see the video. That has blossomed into everybody adding me as a freind on facebook! *grin* I'm no where near as popular as Jason or Kevin, though. They each have probably over 200 'friends'!

Kevin desperately wanted a new cell phone for christmas from which he could text more easily. Since I had not renewed my cell phone contract for awhile, we worked out a deal to get him the phone he wanted (Christmas AND birthday present), got a newer phone for myself, and got a second line on my account for Aunt Kathy (who is using Kevin's old phone). Happiness all around. Tim and Jason both opted for video games for Christmas.

In January, I always have my Malvern Retreat weekend that I have been going to since I was 15, with Dad. Dad has not been able to make it the past few years. I've invited Tim to go for the pas 3-4 years, now but he has not been ready yet. This year I invited Jason and Kevin also, but they were "up in the air" since one of them would be 'teaming' a Journey retreat weekend, that same date. Jason was picked for the team for Journey, and at the last minute Kevin decided to go with me to Malvern! We took the camera to get some pic's for Dad.

We both had a good retreat. When we got back, I went to Jason's "homecoming" for his weekend, where he also had a great time.

Well, that catches me up on pictures. I'm sitting in a hotel room this week in Chicago (that part time work I mentioned). I'll probably be here next week, too. A little boring, but at least it brings in some mulah.

Hope to update again, soon.
Bye!
